Welcome To December Newsletter!

Properties with Purpose

Happy December! The year has truly flown by. As we approach the end of 2024, we reflect on the strides we've made in housing individuals who have successfully graduated from our program. We are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support we've received from our partners and the community. Although our organization is still young—just two years old—we are steadily growing. We welcome new opportunities and look forward to expanding our impact in the coming year. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, more supportive future for those we serve.

Christmas Dinner at Our Buford Location

One of the highlights of our holiday season was the Christmas dinner we hosted for the residents at our Buford location in Georgia. The event was filled with warmth, delicious food, and the spirit of togetherness. It was an opportunity to connect with our residents, share in the joy of the season, and remind them they are not alone. The smiles on everyone’s faces were heartwarming a reminder of the impact we can have when we come together to support and uplift one another.

Addressing Homelessness

Homelessness remains a pressing issue in our community, and we are committed to being part of the solution. This December, we continue our efforts to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness, providing access to shelter, resources, and a pathway to a better future. Our outreach programs and collaborations with local shelters are making a difference, and we’re thankful for everyone who helps us bring hope and stability to those in need.

Christmas Dinner

Help Inn Folk partnered with New Life Baptist Church to serve a Christmas dinner to the local community, and the event was a resounding success. We had the privilege of feeding over 400 people, offering presents, and providing a listening ear to those who needed it. We also distributed Help Inn Folk flyers, sharing information about housing opportunities. It was truly a delight to join forces with the church, coming together to serve and strengthen our local community during this special time of year.

Warming Stations Available

With the cold weather settling in, we are reminded that many of our neighbors are facing the harsh realities of winter without shelter. To provide relief, we have partnered with local organizations to offer warming stations throughout the area. These stations are available to those experiencing homelessness, offering a safe, warm place to escape the frigid temperatures. If you or someone you know is in need of a warm space, please share with them this newsletter with available warming stations:
