Properties with Purpose

Happy New Year, Its 2024!

Welcome to our February newsletter, one of my favorite months where affection fills the air and hearts are aflutter with romantic celebrations! As we bid farewell to the chilly days of winter and eagerly anticipate the arrival of spring, February brings with it a plethora of exciting events and occasions to celebrate love and connection.

African American History Month

Help Inn Folk were honored to be invited for the second time to Lt Governor Burt Jones African American History month reception.

The event celebrates African American History. We honor the remarkable community leaders and contribution that African Americans have made in the local community.

We pay homage to  heroes who have shaped history through their courage, resilience, and unwavering determination. From trailblazers like Harriet Tubman, who led countless enslaved individuals to freedom through the Underground Railroad, to civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King Jr., whose powerful words and peaceful protests sparked monumental change, African American heroes have left an indelible mark on the fabric of our society. Their bravery in the face of adversity, their commitment to justice and equality, and their enduring legacy continue to inspire generations to strive for a more inclusive and equitable world. We recognise and celebrate these extraordinary individuals for their invaluable contributions to our shared history and for their enduring impact on the fight for equality and justice for all.

Georgia Radio Reading Service

Thank you  to Georgia Radio Reading Service for hosting my first ever event  Volunteers and Listeners Appreciation Day for listeners and volunteers. This special day allows us to gather and interact with listeners who are blind. I'm enjoying my time as a presenter at Georgia Radio Reading Service, the team are very welcoming and it was an honor to meet some of the dedicated listeners. Big thanks to Carol Brumer and Rachel Ruckart for organizing an amazing event!

Showing kindness and love to others is not just a gesture; it's a way of life that uplifts both the giver and the receiver. In a world that can often feel chaotic and divided, acts of kindness serve as beacons of light, reminding us of our shared humanity. Whether it's a simple smile, a kind word, or a thoughtful gesture, each act of kindness has the power to brighten someone's day and create a ripple effect of positivity. By extending compassion and empathy to those around us, we not only foster stronger connections but also contribute to a more compassionate and harmonious society. Let us strive to make kindness and love the cornerstone of our interactions, spreading joy and warmth wherever we go.
